Here are some beautiful captures of a Lesser Crested Tern flock, encountered on our latest excursion. Every year from October to April large flocks of this species (Sterna Bengalensis) visit the Putalam Lagoon. Also known as Fisherman from the Bengal sea, they can be found foraging at high tide, in flocks of up to 400 birds, just 6 km from the coast!
